The house is bid on over a 7 day period, after which the highest bidder wins the auction, puts a hard deposit in escrow, and must pass within 30 days. The seller has no costs, and the buyer pays a 2.5% buyers' premium plus any legal and escrow fees.

How much does it cost?

It costs the sellers who list the house on Flipbid.com nothing. The buyer pays a 2.5% buyers' premium on the winning bid when they complete the purchase of the house.

Can I buy the house before the bidding ends?

Unfortunately, unless the seller has set a "buy it now" price option, you must be the winning bidder after the 7 day period to be able to buy the house.
